Kane Productions brings over 15 years of experience, an exceptional sense
of style, and creative passion to produce flawlessly executed special
events, concerts and films for the entertainment, corporate, and non-profit
communities. As past clients state, their events "have never been
more professionally arranged" than under the direction of Jacalyn
Kane, president and founder of the company. Jacalyn works with the best
people in the industry to form efficient and innovative teams that perform
all aspects of event production from concept to completion, including
coordination, design, scenic production, vendor relations, talent and
contract negotiations, technical services and promotions.
deep roots and a commitment to values
As U.S. Senator John F. Kerry noted, Jacalyn Kane proved her ability to
do "tremendous work" early in her career, while coordinating
logistics and scheduling for Senator Kennedy's Campaign for President.
Her work on the campaign resulted in her production of a documentary entitled,
Kennedy '80, a case study in media and political use and abuse. The
film is currently used as a teaching tool.
Jacalyn went on to
produce a variety of TV commercials and industrial films for corporate
clients including Polaroid Corporation and Digital Computers. Her commitment
to social and political causes has been reflected throughout her career
as she produced and directed documentaries, gala events, and benefits
supporting nuclear disarmament and AIDS awareness. In this arena Jacalyn
honed a variety of production skills and developed an expertise for working
with high profile talent such as Joanne Woodward, Carly Simon, Meryl
Streep, Jane Alexander, Senator George McGovern, and Teresa Heinz.
expanding horizons and expertise
Ms. Kane's experience developing and producing music events began with
the legendary Vineyard Peace concert '86 on Martha's' Vineyard
and continued in her position as Special Events producer and Marketing
Director for David Maldonado Management, where she developed and
implemented a marketing department for Ruben Blades, Marc Anthony,
Menudo (Ricky Martin) and others. Her responsibilities included everything
from producing concerts, videos and special events, to handling the press,
publicity, and tour promotions for clients that also included: Celia
Cruz, Tito Puente, Eddie Palmieri, and El Puma. In addition,
she developed concert and tour sponsorships with corporate giants such
as Miller Brewing Co., Nickelodeon, Proctor & Gamble, and Warner
Lambert.
Among her specialties, Jacalyn Kane offers extensive experience as a fundraising
consultant and producer for large-scale music festivals, intimate garden
concerts, elegant dinners, and dynamic award shows. With the formation
of Kane Productions, she has proven her powers to "create magic while
managing people and dollars with great finesse." Her credits include Gala~Carnivale 2005 for the Bay Area's California Shakespeare Theater,
Whole Earth Festival 2002, The Boston Pops Benefit Concert for The Martha's
Vineyard Hospital, The Annual Topanga Days County Fair, The City of Los

all aspects of production and coordination to bring the event to life

talents to a range of causes including Earth Day, T-CEP (Topanga
Community Emergency Preparedness Fund), and the American Diabetes Foundation.
Her goal is to continue to cross cultural barriers and effect positive
